Florian Niederlechner está siendo una de las sensaciones en la presente temporada de la Bundesliga, el delantero que actualmente milita en las filas del Augsburgo tuvo un camino difícil para llegar a la competición de primer nivel en el país alemán.
El comienzo del camino de Niederlechner
Florian Niederlechner estuvo jugando a nivel amateur hasta los veinte años, una edad en la que el jugador no esperaba recibir la propuesta de un equipo profesional. Pero así fue, llegó el Heidenheim para darle una oportunidad en la 3. Bundesliga.

En su primera temporada a nivel profesional anotó 9 goles y repartió 4 asistencias, consiguió ascender a la 2. Bundesliga en la que destacó con un total de 15 goles y 10 asistencias. Llegaría el momento de despedirse del Heidenheim, el Mainz llamó a su puerta y Niederlechner aceptó la propuesta.
El salto de Niederlechner a la Bundesliga
Llegaba de marcar 15 goles y de repartir 10 asistencias, el Mainz tenía esperanzas en el delantero alemán, pero las cosas no salieron como esperaban y en los 12 partidos que jugó con el no vio puerta.
Esta situación le llevó de vuelta a la 2. Bundesliga, solamente habían pasado seis meses de su traspaso al Mainz, y estaba siendo cedido, esta vez al Friburgo. Con el Friburgo la cosa cambió y el delantero encontró la regularidad, en 14 partidos marcó 8 goles y asistió en 2 ocasiones a sus compañeros.
El Friburgo ascendería a la Bundesliga, y Florian Niederlechner seguiría demostrando que tenia nivel para estar en el máximo nivel, los 12 goles y las 3 asistencias sirvieron para que el Friburgo lo acabara comprando.
Tras varias temporadas jugando a un gran nivel, llegaría un golpe del que parecía muy difícil recuperarse, en la temporada 17/18 el alemán sufrió una fractura de rótula que lo dejó más de media temporada en dique seco.
El resurgir tras la lesión
Tras más de media temporada lesionado, volvió a los terrenos de juego y le costaría seis jornadas ver puerta por primera vez, sería una temporada diferente para Florian Niederlechner.
En la jornada ocho sufrió otra lesión que lo mantuvo apartado un total de dos meses. Dos meses en los que el entrenador había perdido la confianza en él y en los que él mismo había perdido mucho de lo que había demostrado en anteriores temporadas. Sus estadísticas fueron bastante pobres en la temporada 18/19, solamente 4 goles y 1 asistencia, se había visto relegado al puesto de suplente, pero cuando menos se lo esperaba se abrió una puerta nueva, el Augsburgo vino a por él.
Esto nos lleva a la presente temporada, en la que Florian Niederlechner vuelve a ser ese delantero goleador y asistente, que se asocia genial con sus compañeros, no hace falta más que mirar sus estadísticas. 11 goles y 8 asistencias en un Augsburgo en el que aún no es titular, tras esta temporada mucha gente lo pide y no tardaremos en verle en cada once inicial.

Como bien dice Martin Schmidt, es un jugador especial, tiene una mentalidad de equipo envidiable, es el primero en atacar y el primero en defender. Tiene una capacidad de entender el juego en ataque y de nutrir a sus compañeros de pases excelentes que pocos delanteros tienen hoy en día.
