En un fútbol en el que los grandes quieren convertir a este deporte en su cortijo privado, aparece otra gesta para silenciar los deseos económicos de algunos dirigentes. El jueves 18 de marzo a las 22:00 horas se consumó una remontada emblemática. El Estadio Maksimir presenció como el Dinamo de Zagreb, en una de sus semanas más inestables a nivel institucional de su historia, remontó a un Tottenham que fue de turismo por la capital croata. Y José Mourinho, en los momentos que pudiera dormir en el vuelo de vuelta, se despertaba otra vez al recordar los tres golpes que le asestó Mislav Orsic, el héroe que desplumó al gallo de Londres.

 

¿Quién es Mislav Orsic?

Mislav Orsic es un talento ambidiestro de la generación del 92. Con 28 años, parece que está alcanzando su nivel óptimo como futbolista. Tras muchas aventuras asiáticas, se convirtió desde 2018 en una pieza fundamental del actual Dinamo de Zagreb. En año de Eurocopa, Orsic lleva entre todas las competiciones 19 goles y 8 asistencias, demostrando su gran adaptación definitiva a la posición de extremo izquierdo pero sin olvidar sus inicios como delantero.

 

La fama en Croacia

El NK Kustosija es conocido en Zagreb por su academia, en la que suelen entrenar los hijos de varios croatas famosos. Allí se formó como futbolista, hasta dar el salto al Inter de Zapresic, en el que consigue debutar como profesional en el 2009. Allí, en la tercera ciudad más poblada de la capital, estuvo cerca de cuatro temporadas, donde coincidió con otros conocidos del fútbol español, como Ante Budimir o Aleksandar Trajkovski.

 

¿Qué hace un croata en China?

Firma una primera vuelta sensacional con el Inter Zapresic en la 2012/2013, en la que anota 17 tantos en 12 partidos. Esto le sirve para ir al Spezia Calcio en la Serie B pero no goza de oportunidades y ficha por el Rijeka, aunque no llega a debutar. Después de una breve cesión al Celje, comenzaría una carrera en el fútbol asiático durante tres años.

Primero probó fortuna en Corea del Sur, en la K-League. Su primera experiencia fue en el Jeonnam Dragons, recuperando sensaciones goleadoras y reencontrándose como futbolista. En 2016, se va a China para jugar Changchun Yatai, aunque solo durante media temporada antes al país surcoreano, cerrando su etapa en Asia en el Ulsan Hyundai, donde contribuye a una Korean FA Cup.

Orsic se convierte en un ídolo del Dinamo de Zagreb

Nenad Bjelica, que jugó en España en equipos como el Albacete, el Real Betis o Las Palmas, llegó en el 2018 a Zagreb como entrenador para recuperar el reinado del Dinamo tras verse interrumpido por el título del HNK Rijeka en la 2016/2017, que rompió el monopolio de los ‘azules’ tras 11 años.  En su primer verano con potestad para fichar, es el encargado de que Orsic vuelva al fútbol europeo.

Ya son tres temporadas rindiendo a un alto nivel, jugando casi siempre desde la banda izquierda, tanto con Blejica como con Zoran Mamic. Cierto que en la selección croata no llega a tener un sitio en el once de Zlatko Dálic, aunque suele ser un fijo en las últimas convocatorias y habrá que ver si puede quitar el puesto a un Ivan Perisic que está contando bastante para Antonio Conte en el Inter de Milán.

 

Orsic, enamorado de las noches europeas

Es evidente que hay jugadores que por una razón u otra, rinden mejor o muestran mejores actuaciones en competiciones concretas. Orsic, antes de la hazaña ante el Tottenham, ya lo demostró en la fase de grupos de Champions League de 2019 ante la Atalanta de Gasperini. Él, junto a Dani Olmo, dieron un recital colosal, ganando por 4-0 al conjunto de Bérgamo en su estreno en el torneo más importante a nivel de clubes. Aquel 18 de septiembre de 2019 Orsic hizo un hat-trick y aunque el Dinamo de Zagreb cayó eliminado meses después, esa actuación sirvió para ver como Dani Olmo estaba creciendo a pasos agigantados o mostrar al mundo que Croacia tenía al relevo de Danijel Subasic en la portería de la selección croata, con Dominik Livakovic.

Ahora, en una semana en la que Zoran Mamic tuvo que dimitir como entrenador después de ser condenado por el Tribunal Supremo a 4 años y 8 meses de prisión por una malversación de 15,5 millones de euros, a Orsic se le ocurrió recurrir a la sentencia con lo mejor que sabe hacer, que es jugar al fútbol. Y quién sabe si sentenció a José Mourinho como entrenador de los Spurs.

¿Cómo juega Mislav Orsic?

Orsic se destapa como un guerrero con habilidad. Guerrero porque es un jugador que no da un balón por perdido. Y habilidoso, porque es un adicto al regate, aspecto que se le da de maravilla. Asimismo, le gusta disparar desde lejos, sea en jugada o con libres directos. El mejor ejemplo se pudo ver ante el Tottenham, donde sus tres goles son con tres registros totalmente distintos. 

Habituado a jugar en la banda izquierda, es un futbolista vertical con buena llegada, que juega de extremo puro pero que también sabe penetrar por dentro. Quizás sus puntos a mejorar sean el ganar los duelos aéreos o su esfuerzo a la hora de bajar a defender, aspectos que fueron claves para no mantenerse en el fútbol europeo hace unos años.

¿Sus opciones de ir a un grande? Todo dependerá de su papel en la Europa League y de si consigue el puesto de titular en la cercana Eurocopa. Su valor de 7 millones de euros según Transfermarkt, hace que pueda ser una de las incorporaciones del próximo mercado de fichajes. De lo que no hay duda es de la Academia del Dinamo Zagreb, que saca talentos una y otra vez, siendo una de las mejores de toda Europa en el siglo XXI.
