Konstantinos Tsimikas, más conocido como Kostas Tsimikas, nació en Salónica, Grecia, en el año 1996. Desde muy pequeño se interesó por el fútbol, empezando su carrera en el equipo local de su pueblo y fichó por el AS Neapoli Thessaloniki cuando tenía 14 años. En 2013 firmó por el Panserraikos y marca 5 goles durante la temporada 2013-14, actuando como extremo zurdo.
Olympiacos: La formación de Tsimikas
En 2014, Kostas ficha por el poderoso Olympiacos Piraeus por 35 mil euros. Esbjerg fB: Etapa de regularidad
Kostas Tsimikas se va cedido al club de primera división danesa, el Esbjerg fB en 2016. En el conjunto danés fue titular de manera regular y regresó al Pireo al final de la temporada. En 13 partidos de liga, 2 goles y 2 asistencias.
Willem II: Etapa de crecimiento
Tsimikas se fue cedido al equipo de la Eredivisie, el Willem II Tilburg, durante la temporada 2017/18. El 20 de septiembre, anota el primer doblete en su carrera en la victoria por 4-2 ante el CSV Apeldoorn en la KNVB Beker. Tsimikas,de vuelta a Grecia
De vuelta en su país natal, en la temporada 2018/19 no pudo entrar en el once titular para la competición doméstica y solo jugó 15 partidos de liga. Sin embargo, en la UEFA Europa League 2018/19, se consolida como un miembro importante de la alineación titular, así como en la copa griega.
Debido a su gran nivel en las competiciones europeas y domésticas, Kostas Tsimikas se consagra como titular indiscutible en la siguiente temporada (2019/20) y jugó de titular con el club la fase de grupos de la UEFA Champions League 2019/20, acabando en el tercer puesto y clasificando para la fase eliminatoria de dieciseisavos de final de la Europa League. ¿Cómo juega Kostas Tsimikas?
Con un modelo de juego muy adaptado al prototipo de lateral moderno, Kostas Tsimikas mantiene su velocidad punta y su aceleración como sus dos principales aptitudes físicas para soportar el ritmo de juego.
Como Robertson, el griego también tiene un gran golpeo en corto y en largo, que le permite encontrar a sus compañeros con centros casi teledirigidos.
