Ha pasado más de una década desde la última vez que la SS Lazio, actual club de Luis Alberto, lograse clasificarse a Champions League. Esta temporada, el conjunto de Simone Inzaghi está más cerca que nunca de poder conseguirlo. En el día de hoy, con la Lazio en segunda posición de la Serie A, repasaremos el juego y trayectoria de uno de sus principales jugadores esta temporada, el español Luis Alberto.

Los comienzos en el fútbol de Luis Alberto

El canterano del Sevilla debutaría en Primera División durante la temporada 10/11 de la mano del conjunto nervionense. Sin embargo, no sería hasta el año 2012 cuando destacaría en segunda división con el Barcelona B, dejando un registro total de 11 goles y 17 asistencias en 38 encuentros durante esa temporada. Dicha temporada le llevaría a fichar por el Liverpool, quién inmediatamente cedería al mediocampista español al Málaga CF.

Tras destacar en las filas del conjunto malagueño, se mudaría hasta otro club de primera división. En la campaña 2015/2016 Luis Alberto recalaría en las filas del Deportivo de la Coruña, firmando 7 goles y 8 asistencias con el conjunto gallego. Nada mal para debutar en un nuevo equipo de la máxima categoría del fútbol español.

Su llegada a la Serie A

Luis Alberto era uno de esos jugadores con calidad y juego suficiente como para llegar a gran nivel a lo largo de los años, y eso en la SS Lazio lo sabían. Por una cantidad cercana a los 4 millones de euros, Luis Alberto llegaría a la Serie A el verano de 2016, procedente del club al que pertenecía por aquel entonces, el Liverpool FC. Su primera temporada se podría resumir fácilmente con la palabra discreción. Algo que tampoco llamó mucho, al fin y al cabo, llegó al club por una ‘modesta’ cantidad de dinero.

Pese a esto, Luis Alberto daría la vuelta a la tortilla en su siguiente año como jugador de la Lazio, dejando así unos excelentes registros de 12 goles y 20 asistencias en un total de 51 encuentros con el conjunto italiano.Luis Alberto se había consagrado como un jugador clave para Simone Inzaghi. Aun habiendo bajado sus registros tanto goleadores como de asistencias en la temporada 2018/2019 (6 goles y 6 asistencias), el andaluz continuaría creciendo hasta llegar a su actual nivel.

La temporada 2019/2020 de Luis Alberto

Luis Alberto debutaría con la selección en el año 2017, y tras ello, continuaría siendo convocado en futuras listas aun con los cambios de entrenadores que ha sufrido la selección española en los últimos años. En gran parte gracias al enorme nivel que continúa demostrando temporada tras temporada.

Su rapidez, tanto mental como física, han hecho de él un jugador más que clave en los esquemas de la SS Lazio. Junto al joven centrocampista Milinkovic-Savic, el andaluz goza de algo más de libertad en la faceta ofensiva del equipo. Su gran desempeño en el ataque lo convierten en uno de los grandes socios de Ciro Inmobile, principal anotador del equipo. Acumulando 7 goles y 13 asistencias en la actual campaña, quién sabe cuáles serán los números y el nivel que es capaz de firmar, si la temporada finalmente se reanuda.

La Lazio en esta Serie A 2019/2020 y rumores de traspaso

Con la SS Lazio situada en segunda posición de la Serie A antes del parón por Covid-19, a tan solo 1 punto de la Juventus de Turín, la situación del club y Luis Alberto ha dado una vuelta de 360 grados. El propio Luis Alberto reconoce que se le escapaba todo, y ahora está en la selección española

Lo que queda claro, es que el futuro de Luis Alberto parece estar muy unido a la Lazio. Y, aunque ya se han puesto varios grandes clubes de Europa en la puja por el andaluz, su renovación con Las Águilas el pasado junio de 2018 parecen cerrar cualquier posible rumor de traspaso.  De hecho, se ha hablado también de una posible oferta de renovación hasta 2025. El club italiano se asegura así un gran futuro de la mano de Luis Alberto.
